Safe Handling Hydrocarbons, Chemicals, & Hazardous Goods

Workers who are required to work with any flammable or combustible hydrocarbons, chemicals or hazardous goods:

•Must perform a Field Task Hazard Assessment prior to using said chemicals.

•Will be trained in the safe handling of these products.

•Will ensure no employee is smoking in the vicinity.

•Will hold current WHMIS certificates.

•Must ensure they are wearing a 4 head personal gas detector monitor.

•Must ensure a fire extinguisher is within easy reach in case of fire.

•Will have a pre determined escape route in case of emergency.
