•Perform all work as per Canadian Electrical Code, OH&S regulations, & company policies.
•Ensure proper PPE (steel toes boots, coveralls, safety glasses, hard hat, and H2S monitor).
•Identify all hazards (H2S, ice & oil build up on stack, slipping & tripping, high voltage).
•Check H2S & LEL by continuous monitoring.
•Make sure winch cable is in good shape to avoid breaking cable causing probes to fall down.
•Isolate power & bring down ignitor probes (lock out procedure).
•Be aware of working with high voltage.
•Repair as required.
•Re-install & remove lockout & test.
