•Always choose the right tool for the job.
•Inspect the tool for any obvious physical damage, frayed cords, ensure guards are in place. Ensure that power tools have been equipped with appropriately rated, blades, wheels, bits, etc.
•Defective, broken, or tools with defective electrical components shall be removed from service, repaired or replaced. Don't leave it for the next person.
•The striking surface of tools must be kept free of burrs and cracks.
•Always secure yourself and keep hands and body out of the path of tool movement.
•Wear appropriate eye, face, hand, and hearing protection.
•Guards will not be removed from any tool.
