Environmental Policy

Protecting Canada’s natural environment is a national concern.  PowerTech Industries Ltd. shares that concern and is committed to minimizing the impact of its activities on the environment while managing its operation economically and efficiently.

PowerTech Industries Ltd.’s commitment will be integrated with management decisions and strategies based on the following guiding principles.

Complying with applicable environmental law, industry standards, and its own policies.

Making environmental considerations an integral part of its planning process including the efficient use of products and materials to ensure minimal waste and perform complete site cleanup upon completion.

 

Operating its vehicles and facilities in a manner that protects the environment, habitat and the safety and health of its employees and the public.

Promptly providing relevant information to all stakeholders affected by its operations and be responsive and sensitive to legitimate stakeholder concerns.

Identifying and mitigating the adverse impacts of its operations on the environment and habitat in keeping with good environmental and business practices.

Responding to emergencies in a prompt and efficient manner.

Committing sufficient resources to ensure that its employees are fully informed of their responsibilities to protect the environment while performing their duties.

 

Management, employees, and contractors are all committed to meeting this policy, now and in the future.
