Human Rights Policy

1. Introduction

At PowerTech Industries, we are committed to promoting and protecting individual dignity, equal rights, and a discrimination-free workplace. This policy outlines our commitment to human rights and sets the foundation for fair and respectful interactions among employees, clients, and stakeholders.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all employees, clients, and visitors associated with PowerTech Industries. It covers all aspects of employment, including recruitment, hiring, training, promotions, benefits, and day-to-day operations.  Power Tech Industries does not use sub-contractors so does not monitor sub-contractor performance regarding human rights policies.

3. Principles

We adhere to the following principles:

1.Equal Opportunity: We provide equal opportunities to all individuals, regardless of their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, age, marital status, or any other protected characteristic.

2.Non-Discrimination: We prohibit discrimination in all employment-related matters, including recruitment, compensation, and termination.

3.Accommodation: We accommodate employees’ needs related to disabilities, religious practices, and other protected grounds, as required by law.

4.Harassment Prevention: We maintain a work environment free from harassment, including sexual harassment, bullying, and any form of intimidation.

Management: Our leadership team is responsible for implementing and enforcing this policy.

Employees: All employees are expected to treat each other with respect, follow this policy, and report any violations promptly.

5. Prohibited Actions

The following actions are strictly prohibited:

1.Discrimination: Treating anyone unfairly based on protected characteristics.

2.Harassment: Engaging in any form of harassment, including verbal, physical, or online.

3.Retaliation: Retaliating against individuals who report violations or participate in investigations.

4.Failure to Accommodate: Failing to provide reasonable accommodations for disabilities or other needs.

6. Reporting and Complaint Procedure

Employees who experience or witness violations of this policy should report them to their supervisor or senior management.

We will promptly investigate all complaints and take appropriate corrective actions.

7. Training and Awareness

We provide regular training to employees on human rights, diversity, and inclusion.

We raise awareness through workshops, seminars, and informational materials.

8. Review and Updates

We review this policy periodically to ensure its effectiveness and compliance with legal requirements.

Any updates will be communicated to all employees.
